Time for disappointment.
Braves fans bracing for Freeman to sign elsewhere. Seems Yankees or Dodgers.
Bye Freddie. Hung the banner. Likely will end up Dodger which makes our difficult back to WS difficult. I am not the booing type regardless.
AA is a great GM. Braves have been spoiled with them. This is good trade. We will be back in the NLCS but this illustrates why we always fell short in the 90s. Trying to build a dynasty cheaply. I will chop on, we have playoff team returning even if Freddie doesn't want to be a part of it
Tatis already out for three months
Big week for Dodgers if they lock down Freeman
! I love Freddie, rooting for him in a Dodgers/Yanks uni gonna be like
Braves BDE allowing hall of famer to walk out the door.
CHOP
Yankees resigned Rizzo. Freeman running out of destinations.
Happy for KB. Colorado is perfect for his up uppercut fly ball swing.
Freeman to Dodgers official
Braves vs Dodgers NLCS Part 3

I am disappointed that Correa turned down a 5 year $160 million deal with the Astros and ended up signing a 3 yr 105 million dollar deal.
The Astros were offering $32 a year, while the Twins are offering $35.1....So yes, he would make 3 million a year more, but the cost of living is more expensive in Minnesota. Also, the Astros have built a winning culture, while the Twins have not. The Twins are good in the regular season, but they don't win in the postseason. Also, I am willing to bet that Houston has a much larger Hispanic population and more to do culturally than Minneapolis.
I think there was some tension between Correa and Ownership. Perhaps he felt slighted or something. I honestly thought he was going to sign a huge contract with the Yankees. Signing with the Twins, and it being just a few more a year than what the Astros offered was a swift and decisive kick to the nuts for us Astros fans.
Well, at least he isn't a Yankee and at least he left our division.
So what have the Red Sox done to get better? I dont really want to do the research..
Big signing yesterday. Market moved slow and was delayed with strike. This is last big deal so far.
Rain already washing out games.
Darvish throws a no-hitter through six, Padres have a shutout into the ninth...and they lose it.
