Yeah that was legit. Him and Bijan have changed the whole energy in this game
The SEC Killers strike again
What if I told you Seminoles own the State of Florida again. We are on our way back...
I wish they both could lose
Wow Clemson still riding this scrub
Good god just go wild cat at some point
K-State beating Kansas, as expected. So TCU vs. K-State for Big XII le. The Big XII is crap this year. I'm not really impressed even with TCU. They're non-conference schedule was terrible so we don't know how good they are against real Power 5 compe ion outside of the Big XII.
rofl Venables taking lessons from Jason Garrett on icing the kicker
They will get the kicked out of them in the playoffs. OSU/Georgia/Michigan will make easy work of them.
Playoffs won't be resolved until after the conf championships.
Agree TCUs escape jobs like against bungling Baylor sucked.
But if they are 12-0 they are in. Hope they get skull F'd.
If not TCU then who would have a shot at Georgia/Michigan in the #3/4 spot? USC maybe but TCU deserves their upcoming beat down. Just like Cincinnati deserved it last year. A perfect reward for a perfect season

I can totally see TCU choking all this away by losing to Kst
TCU and USC both choke their conference le games.
Does that mean Ohio State and Bama automatically move up to 3-4?
Oh yay that would be two big ten schools and two sec schools. Just like Big Media wants
they'd probably be okay with USC though
... Lol big ten school in waiting
I don't think USC loses. TCU might. KState is playing well and TCU's defense is trash.
But honestly I'd rather see TCU get face raped over a pair of Big 10 teams. So I hope the top four stays intact.
Oh i don't either. UCLA had USC in a position to lose but couldn't close.
I'm just LOLing at how much it would suck for Bama and Ohio State haters.
The way they choked off their two losses (both high scoring 1 pt final play losses) they put themselves out.
But, still alive mathematically.
12 team playoff starting 2024-25
some games at home stadiums
Personally, I am not a fan.
1 or 2 slip ups during the regular season should do it for most teams imo, you are out.
This declaration on my part may have resulted not seeing the Texas Longhorns in the playoffs for hundreds of years.
Does it expand from here into a college basketball tourney, I hope not.
This was one of the unique features of college football. Being very tough to become national champs. Imo this will favor teams playing well at the end of the season, so bad starts, not a big deal. I think the whole season should theoretically be of equal importance knowing that teams usually improve during the season.
On another subject; portal:
There are already 500 WR and 500 DB who say they are going portal.
NIL: I would still love to see an example of what the contracts look like the whole way through including all the forfeiture clauses.
I'm good with the expansion. I have told people that Ive wanted 12 at the least and the new structure looks good. Not too many games, rewards teams who play well with a bye and gives the Cinderella team a chance to prove they belong. If other issues arrive and it needs to be adjusted it can be from here but this is a great first step.
Well it certainly is good for UT as far as giving us a chance to make it.
I dont think there is any chance it goes back to smaller than 12 teams.
Once you start the move to more, you add more imo.
Although the problem with football is its just too damn punishing to go as big as bball in the tourney.
Also it will be interesting to see how they work out the byes. One thing I really would like (now that it is done) is play the games ASAP. Its not fair letting good teams sit. around for a couple of weeks without games to stay sharp. oh.... conference championships and conference realignments. These have to undergo some modifications as well which really adds complexity to trying to predict anything good or bad about moving to more teams in the actual payoffs (Freudian slip)
Love it. G5 is the biggest winner in the new system. You no longer have to have a multi year run and for the stars to allign with other bluebloods faltering like they did for Cincinnati to get in. That sixth highest ranked conference champ will be a G5 every single year. That's awesome for those ~75 fanbases and programs. I honestly didn't think it would happen so soon or even ever, tbh.
Ideally, yes, but we will see how it works!
