Remember DRob jumping up and down on the bench like it was yesterday. Category 7 Kerricane demolished Dallas that day.

This will always be in the Top 3 of my favorite Spurs moments. Watching this game live, I was so mad after the Spurs had broken a huge lead in game 5 and we just looked dead in Game 6...then they flipped the script on the Mavs and Jax/Kerr helped lead us to the Finals and our 2nd championship

Loved the part where the Mavs tried to exploit the Kerr defence one on one but wasn’t able to yield anything.

Michael Finley picking the Spurs after getting amnestied was the coolest moment prior to LMA signing. That 2006 team was destined to ring. A complete juggernaut. My favorite moment was all the Spurs fans in the dome wearing Finley 4 jerseys after nut puncher got suspended. Oh what could have been…

The Spurs organization should propose moving opening night to the Alamodome to bring the historic event to the highest quan y of fans possible.

Agree. And my favorite play was when he dove to save the ball. His defense was inspired. He deserves so much credit for that game. I think that was the season he had to fill in at point for an extended period.

What was the name of Mengke Bateer's translator? I remember seeing him go nuts on the bench that whole run.

Same here, went face first for that save.
