I hope not tbh. Need to lose out from here.
Welp here we are
Hufanga added a boost last week. Greenlaw *might* play some snaps. Bosa & Trent still considered out.
Isaac Guerendo is questionable. Mustafa too.
We will win
I hope not tbh. Need to lose out from here.
Too late now after pounding the Bears. We are forced to try and make a run to the Postseason.
Stick a fork in em. They're done.
Like DeVondre Campbell?
- Shanahan now has locker room problems (Deebo)
- I supported sitting/tanking after the Bills game but difficult to do when guys contracts/money is tied into certain snap/statistical thresholds.
Problems create Losing but also vice versa in Sports. Now we have behavioral problems and other players (Purdy) are pressing. Ideally you say he hurt his Shoulder and sit him for the remainder of the season. But will a guy coming off such a performance and playing on a Rookie contract accept that?
I offer Brock around 30M fully guaranteed over a short contract. Otherwise no I'm not getting married to him after all these other roster needs have now become evident. And yes I would consider trading him for some high draft picks if that becomes avaliable.
Fortunately the schedule is still difficult so we can improve draft position and focus early on Assistant Coaching upgrades.
Time to reboot the roster. Kyle's biggest hurdle in his career. Mean guy turned nice and extended players only to be burned. Bad guy Kyle needs to grab this franchise by the horns. Get help. Better assistants.
I'm still supporting Kyle more than any player. Onwards.
Edit: Kyle needs to get back in the lab. He needs experienced Coordinators to step in now

unstacked![]()
I haven't watched a minute of NFL since McCaffrey fell to the snowy turn. Immediately closed my laptop and went to sleep.
I hoped we would tank and for numerous reasons we are. This is elite Offensive Lineman range. Bottomline: in Super Bowls we get more sacks and offensive holding penalties. Doesn't make sense? Ya me neither.
If 49ers role into 2025 with Trent, Puni and Top10 OL pick. I see Contender.

4th Place team schedule against weaker divisions in 2025
Assuming we see decent draft & health- this will be a Top3 seed next season
I'll return with Post '24 season recap, breakdown & butthurtness. Til then... bang bang see ya gang
Strong offseason so far. And now the Draft.
And zero rings all out of 7 NFCCG appearances and going 4-3 in said appearances. Pretty bad.
As for the Niners next year, if they're healthier they'll be better, but how much better really? They're best off trading the NFL's version of Jeremy Lin in Small- Brock Purdy and saving that completely undeserved 50M/year for being a bus driver, but either way McCaffrey and Deebo Samuel's careers are pretty much done at this point, Aiyuk is coming off a torn ACL, Kittle is constantly banged up and if they do pay Purdy they're going to have to cut ways with at least two of those. Trent Williams is 37, how much more does he have left? Dre Greenlaw won't be back and the secondary is a hot mess. The d-line isn't good/deep like it was in 2019 or even 2021-2023. I don't really see them being better than an average team fighting for a playoff birth, unless the division is truly godawful.
Lost 3 SBs by a total of 17 points. Been an enjoyable ride if it's meant to end.

Changed his number but not at ude or weight
Can't strip him of his C so gotta ship him out
This is the 3rd offseason since the 2000s, we witnessed a big exodus of talent
2015: Willis, Justin Smith, Gore, Iupati, Crabtree, Aldon Smith, Vernon Davis, Anthony Davis, Chris Borland and more.
But this current group is by and large injured prone and/or fringe starters. I question Floyd because he was on team friendly deal. Greenlaw is the only other loss I might reverse but again heavily injured in career. Juszczyk hurts.
As it stands our Offense is well enough with a returning Trent & McCaffrey. But the Defensive Front7 is very bare. We will need to draft 2 DL and a LB within our first few picks. It's clear the 2025 49ers will be outscoring opponents. The 2019 Dline with Buckner, Armstead, Bosa and Dee Ford is long gone.
Think they'll end up a WC next year since their schedule is re edly easy but their ceiling is the Divisional round tbh. Just gotta hope they can work some magic with this upcoming draft or via trade to maybe pry open the window again.
Agreed. We have steadily lost our toughness. Now just another offensive team.
But I believe in Lynch & Kyle. Top3 draft last season and we need more hungry defensive boys. The odds are definitely tinkering on 50/50 chance this could spiral
Last season was shockingly sunk ship. Kinda required a locker room cleaning. I still believe but understand a significant portion of the fan base are desperate mode.
Well the Niners paid Purdy 75M/year just now, their season is so farked.
With the top DL off the table. 49ers chose
Williams is an elite run stopper which has been the Niners' biggest weakness the past few years tbh. He has potential in the pass rush as well but health will be a question mark.
As of right now, I give the pick a B with the potential to become an A. Considering this draft is pretty flat talent-wise I'll take it; glad they didn't trade up for him as is being reported they tried to do.
49ers podcast saying Aldon Smith 1st pick. Super young but huge ceiling. Strong run stopper.
