Put your general Combine takes here.
If it's specific to a player, use the existing player thread.
Things are getting interesting around here.
Tyrese Martin played well at Portsmouth and now at the Elite Camp. He's starting to build that type of pre-draft resume the Spurs look for. Hmm...
Can they do accurate measurements this year? Instead of testing for PEDs they should test for lifts. It’s a big thing with today’s youth.
Still waiting for Vassell to turn into a 6’7 defensive beast.
The Combine (or portions of it) will be televised on
Thursday at 2:00 PM Central (Day 1) ESPN News (2 hours);
Friday at 1:00 PM Central (Day 2) ESPN News (3 hours); and
Saturday at 7:30 PM Central (Day 3) NBATV (2 hours).
Is it pretty funny to see such a variation in the difference between barefoot and in shoe measurements.
haha there was a time I was 6’0 on tinder lolz… at the end of the day if you can play you can play but accurate and standardized measurements shouldn’t be too much to ask.
The ladies catch on pretty quick when you're chillin' around the house completely naked except for those laced up hi-tops.
In my experience once they are back at the crib it is not an issue. The draft has always been a crapshoot but with more transparency comes more buyer remorse.
Great combine but actually aren’t that good, bad combine just wasn’t their week, skipped the combine as they are legit, skipped the combine as they are hiding things. NBA scouting isn’t easy.
Overlay social media, the established media etc and it’s basically a casino.
Some really interesting names.
Called it. Miller is shorter than his billed 6’11 height. Not a huge difference, but noteworthy.
EJ is a little taller than I expected...
+4 wingspan and 211 is a decent weight for a 6'10" 19 year old...
Wouldn’t be shocked at all if he’s the pick at 20.
Rule of thumb for combine height compared to NBA is 1-2 inches shorter.
Is Combine height measured barefooted?
They do both now but are still sus and most media outlets report the shoes height it seems

Mark Williams' measurements are impressive. Charlotte will have to trade up to 9/10/11 to get him before OKC at 12.
Shaedon Sharpe a little shorter than expected but very long arms. Could definitely play the 3 in 2022 NBA.
All body fat measurements are incredibly fake though not sure why they do it at all.
Edit : Blake Wesley at 6'3 barefoot, Branham 6'4 and Kendall Brown 6'6 look a bit disappointing as well. Dyson Daniels 6'6, I expected him to be taller.

Dyson is just a hair under 6’8 with shoes. With a near 6’11 wingspan. Solid measurements tbh.
Still a fan of MarJon as an athletic 2-way wing off the bench if he’s there at 20. Might not make it though. And I’m confident he’ll be gone by 25 (if we don’t move these two picks to move up).

Jalen Williams has some lonnnng arms
Yea Williams’ measurements are freaky. These would make him the 3rd tallest player in the league and the 6th longest wingspan in the league. He doesn’t fall out of the top-15 imo.
No way his body fat % is that low though . Same with all these guys. That’s like Mr. Olympia levels.
For all the talk of Duren being a physical specimen, Williams is both taller and has a longer wingspan.
haha 4.9% body fat is freakish.
