Given the Spurs’ record of overvaluing performance at pre-draft camps, don’t be surprised if they trade #9 and #20 to get into the top 5 and pick Jalen Williams.
Who ing knows? You dont. I don’t. Nobody who passed on Jokic did.

I like Branham. Actually probably like him more than Mathurin and Davis.
Just thinking about it, Imo JWill doesn’t make it past the Cavs picking at 14. He’d be a perfect fit for them tbh lol I’d like him at 9 for the spurs he’s growing on me.
This was funny thanks Uriel. Love to keep things light.
Too funny that the Spurs selected Primo, Samanic after their strong performance at the Combine
Is he fluent in polish?
If so might help bring in the Poth, Falls City, Panna Maria crowd
Defense, outside shooting and that swagger. This kid is my target at #9
Branham is pretty underrated (especially compared to a lot of other Big 10 prospects).
In fact, he looks pretty damn good. He had one of the better TV interviews at the combine and also looks mature on the court -- moves with a purpose off the ball and scores fairly well going to the basket. He looks involved and aware whether he's got the ball or not. Excellent shooter. 53% from two, 42% from three and 83% from the line. Nice blend of athleticism, skill and control.
But he's probably a reach at 9 and gone by 20.
Sochan #9, Jovic #20 & draft and stash #25 would be a uva draft. Sochan might be gone earlier tho.
Guys see a couple of Combine tapes and immediately want to draft those guys.
Don't want Jovic at 20.
Try euroleague and eurocup games. I didn't wait this draft to know about Jovic. Just didn't really know about is personality.
Branham has the same issues as Jovic and McGowens -- he's a really poor defender. Not that any of them can't improve, just mentioning.
One thing to take into account with guys like Jalen Williams is definitely the level of his teammates. Paolo Banchero had 6 teammates that were RSCI Top 100 out of high school. Chet had 9. Mathurin had 4, Sochan had 5, Tari Eason had 6... Jalen had zero. Santa Clara were 10-5 in the WCC, but two of those loses were against Gonzaga, and their overall record was 21-12. If you go through the loses, few of them were the result of Jalen playing badly-- usually it was simply a case of him not getting enough contributions from teammates. And even in the rare games where his shooting wasn't there, you see other positive factors like rebounds, assists, and steals. The guy's impressive.
Jalen Williams definitely looks like the sleeper in this draft with star potential out of the top 8. Imagine a DJ/J-Will back court 2 guards with 7 foot wingspans. The only question is what the are we doing with Primo, Vassell and Keldon when we draft another wing?
I think we should package one of them with a draft pick to go after a player we want...hopefully one that plays the 4..
you can't package Primo, nobody wants him. I wouldn't mind packaging one of Keldon or Vassell, but I also think Keldon and #9 + #20 might be enough for the #3 pick so... I don't know. Spurs gotta figure it out
If that package gets is to #3 we should do it...it's a no brainer..
If Mark Williams goes before the #20 pick, consider me shocked.
I’m sticking with my Roy Hibbert comparison.
Trevion Williams will be a better selection than this guy…

Eason has a very low release point on his shot.
Charlotte needs a center and Duren will be gone before they pick. If Williams is there when they pick they’ll be super stoked. Won’t last to 20 in my view.
