Ok...99% of the population doesn't buy it. Especially if they spend a few seconds to look into it. I even think the guy in the video now gets it. At least as far as hammers go.

They had a ballistic shield and enough firepower inside the school shortly after the shooter entered, but waited an hour to use it.

    • At least some officers on the scene seemed to believe that Arredondo was in charge inside the school, and at times Arredondo seemed to be issuing orders such as directing officers to evacuate students from other classrooms. That contradicts Arredondo’s assertion that he did not believe he was running the law enforcement response. Arredondo’s lawyer, George E. Hyde, said the chief will not elaborate on his interview with the Tribune, given the ongoing investigation.

Not defending the officers but you'd have loved it if they fired a shot and hit a teacher or kid. Oh you'd be all over that like flies on .

Tactical experts now weighing in. What does Occupy Democrats have to say about approaching an active shooter situation with handguns when half the LEO presence is barely trained crossing guards?

I hope not, we'll see. People will continue to follow this story. Official stonewalling will only prolong their agony and feed su ion that will they're covering up things even worse than what we already know -- that has been the pattern so far. Lies and smokescreens followed by worse and worse revelations

No desperation necessary, all that's been needed so far is to open one's eyes in the morning and read the headlines. The way officialdom has clammed up, it's hard to believe there's not more embarrassing news being covered up.

of course there is a coverup.

"The Texas Department of Public Safety is no longer investigating what happed with the mass shooting in Uvalde.

The investigation has been handed over to the Uvalde County District Attorney"

    "
“The District Attorney has told DPS that they're not to issues any more reports and that the investigation ..."

    "
the Uvalde school shooting as an ongoing criminal investigation could allow the use of the

    controversial
    Dead Suspect Loophole,”

which exempts law enforcement from public records request"

Law enforcement is beyond the reach of the law!

" Department of Public Safety Director Steve McCraw told a state Senate committee Tuesday that the law enforcement response to the Uvalde school shooting was an "abject failure" and police could have stopped the shooter at Robb Elementary School three minutes after arriving were it not for the indecisiveness of the on-scene commander, who placed the lives of officers before those of children...."

I don't think of it as throwing anyone under the bus. It's just placing blame where blame is probably due.

perhaps you don't recall the excuses McCraw made on the day of the shooting, or his various misrepresentations to the press. DPS doesn't have clean hands here.

    Mind blown 2.0

Seriously, where the have you been for the past 50 years? This has always been the case. Are you so set in your safe space and surrounded by like minded people that you're totally ignorant of this simple fact?
