Maverick didn't change teams. Stop it.
c'mon man
they could have featured her as a REASON why maverick turned and played for the other team!

I wonder how this movie would have done at the box office in Russia if it were allowed to play there.
It also seems like a genius marketing decision not to play this movie in China given that it would have likely been censored and been a dud anyway. Instead, they have made the movie even more "All-American" by refusing to censor it.
There’s a theory that most of the movie is a dying dream after the test plane disintegrated. I admit, I had wondered how someone could survive a scenario like that.
Top Gun/Bottom Gun..
That era had big women. The chick (Shue) in Karate Kid was big compared to Ralphie boy. She went from basically dating a 10 year old to nursing Homelander and getting eye sockets ed out by his beams. McGinnis was bigger than Cruise (who wasn't?) and it appeared awkward. They should have found someone more his size.
Enjoyed the out of it. Definitely the kind of movie to go see in theaters vs waiting for the home release.
Elizabeth Shue is 5'2". That's several inches shorter than Cruise or Macchio. And quite possibly why she was cast against them.
Her head is twice the size of his.
Yeah, they never addressed how he survived a plane blowing up at mach 10.
They don't need to, Darrin. It's a movie.
Yeah I was watching Rambo II and thinking what the , they need to address how this guy is just mowing all these gooks down shooting from the hip.
I was watching Star Wars and thinking how the does the entire Death Star blow to bits from one X wing fighter shot down a long sewer tube that leads to the center
I wish they'd address how these kung fu mother ers were flying from rooftop to rooftop in Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon.
is it really possible to put electricity into a blanket and you can fly like batman? then why isnt everyone flying? sure wish that was addressed
