The look on 's face is priceless! That was savage lol
He did have one good dunk vs blazers for the spur's
You could tell he wanted to roll with it, but it hurt him too much
Thanks for the chuckle! That was pretty good
Seriously though, RJ has turned into a pretty good "analyst" and announcer. Maybe not the most insightful out there, but definitely not afraid to call it like he sees it even if it ruffles some feathers.
Also, his podcast with Tim Duncan was possibly the best Duncan interview ever.
Hated his years with the Spurs, but enjoying listening to him on TV.
Rack it.
Sad because did actually have a pretty good streak for a while on the Spurs. Purportedly Pop had the video room splice every offensive play together and they went over it?? One of Pops main emphasis was was not ready to shoot when pass arrived.
get RJ, CJ, JJ, and Dray to take over TNT once Chuck retires
Funny as it is, it's just untrue. The Nets record stayed the same, and they got a LOT worse the next few years.
Nah I like Richard Jefferson. He’s not worried about self-deprecating to create humor. Some fans take them literally.
Would like to hear what happened next
Nah, he played along. In fact, It wouldn't surprise me if it was all scripted.
Well said tbh
That was savage. ing cannot stand RJ however, he did say something good the other day about shortening the season. Said it was generally a bunch of bull .... which I agree with.
Yeah, that was a great video. One great point he made was that is would screw with records, and also longevity as players these days already have it easier than players in the past as far as comfort, training, nutrition and all of that. Shortening the season is a joke.
Owners would never stand for it. They aren't giving up their precious revenue just to coddle players.
, the NBA has already started ADDING games with the play-in tournament and now considering some kind of mid-season tournament...their focus seems to be going in the opposite direction.
What is the mid season tournament supposed to be for? What's the idea behind that?
^ I think idea is to add excitement. Like in soccer these little cups add bragging rights, and may have ramifications in other areas (seeding, draft odds).
They must think the Memphis and NOLA performances in the play-ins of recent years generated some enthusiasm among fans.
