Banchero clearly the best player on the floor. Orlando made the right decision with that #1 pick.

Tari Eason looks good defensively too, as expected. Once he cleans up that 3-point shot, I think he’s gonna be a damn good role player at this level.

Hate to go rascal with this post

but Jabari has no burst with the dribble to get by his man and he only has average handles so he cant compensate for it with that

rockets drafted a role player with the 3rd pick

Yeah Smith was very clearly going to be a very expensive role player.

Jabari Smith really slow reacting in help defense. He doesn't have much burst.

Also seeing Banchero standing next to Tari Eason, who is 6'6.75" without shoes, it looks like he is at least 3, maybe 4 inches bigger. I'd say he's at least a legit 6'10" without shoes, which is huge. Legit centre height. He might even be closer to 6'11" without shoes.

Banchero will probably be close to a 20-10-5 player his rookie year imo.

And Orlando won't win any more games.

Kinda feel bad for JSJ -- his team is a wreck and won't likely get any better soon culture-wise. He actually looks unselfish.

Man Banchero pulling a chet and going off in his debut.

His defense has been really impressive. Man is switching at the 3 pt line and causing havoc with center height. If he plays like that every night, and not just the ones he's motivated for, he can be a real difference maker for them next year. I really like this rookie class. They're making a bunch of teams fun to look forward to watching.

Not as down on smith as others. Guy still has the Best shot, of the bigs this year. Definitely struggling with the rockets gameplan. He doesn't seem part of it at all. He's also a legit defender but his team seems all over the place.

No wonder he was so depressed when he got drafted by them. Poor kid.

Eason Game IQ looks as bad as advertised. Stands out more doing silly plays than any hustle plays. Rockets really need a good coach to teach them the game. Tons of talent, no idea what to do with it.

Think jabaris game looks a lot different with a real team. He was the only guy passing every possession, rest of his team were playing for a job I guess, hardly looking his way.

Banchero looks great. Also think he will benefit with the real team too. Will.be an exciting player in Orlando. League media is about to give him the Laker treatment tbh.

Here to watch Sharpe play. So far, can confirm he doesn't have a wooden leg. One concern gone, 999 left to go.
