OmG DPG ... don't do this to me. Don't do this to me.

Well I will tell you what?

Spurs have to be playing that long game of tanking for Wembanyana next summer, can't be anything else. I honestly hope at this point they find a great Murray trade. We can wish him well, watch him get to the playoffs and be happy about it getting his chance, while Spurs start the real process of rebuilding this thing back up.

I am not under no illusions that this isn't going to be painful to watch at times.

    Oh you know what?

Dieng being french... wouldn't he be pals with Wembanyama from like the national team or something?

Think about this guys... It maybe hurt to lose George Hill, but you got Kawhi in exchange and a championship out of it, despite everything that happened later.
    LOVE getting folks on record.

Dieng scares me more than just about any other prospect the Spurs could realistically target at 9... Unproven player who hasn't had much real success or faced high quality opposition. Good measurements and some potential, maybe more than I am seeing... quite coordinated for such a lanky guy, nice enough shooting stroke, but nothing really pops out for me when watching him. I hope the Spurs take someone else, but if they see fit to draft him I will cross my fingers and trust the experts.

I'm happy with this draft as long as the Spurs don't pick Dieng or AJ Griffin at 9, basically. So, yeah, Dieng incoming makes sense because Spurs fans aren't meant to be happy on draft day
Or because PATFO lives in a different world.

by the way Spurs are apparently one of the teams interested in signing Euroleague MVP Micic who's draft rights belong to OKC. There could be a minor trade in the works as well

Funny that OKC, NO, and reportedly PATFO love the kid. Parker has reportedly sung his praises. And I know that at minimum Denver likes him and Charlotte likes him.

He's got great defensive flashes. He's long. He's aggressive. Athletic. He has a good floater now, which is often a piece players develop later. And he will only get bigger and stronger which will open up his inside game. His form is such that he will get more consistent from 3pt That means he'sone of the few prosoects that has defensive and offensive skills, inside and out. You only pass that at 9 for Murray or Mathurian.

I'm gonna love this thread in 3 yrs, regardless of where he is. And I'm saying now, before it happens how blindly foolish so many of you are being. WATCH his tape. If you haven't, and are showing group think, then shame on you guys. If you have and you think he's soft, or is a worse Samanich, then I question WTF your eyes are seeing.

Let the chips fall where they may.

If he's willing to be the backup he would provide more value than Tre Jones imo. Unless Tre can become a knockdown three-point shooter he probably can't be more than a low-end backup or high-end third-stringer at PG.

Jokic is pressing Denver HARD to get him. Probably where he lands.

That’s Josh Primo’s big bro from Brampton, Ontario. We are bringing him at #20 to make our future franchise PG more comfortable ala Giannis and his bros.
