Defense wins championships. I wouldn't mind the Spurs going back to their roots a bit....we have consistently been in the lower third on defense and that is not a winning formula.
People act like the Warriors are just some offensive juggernaut, but they were also a top-4 defense this year along with the Jazz, Celtics, and Suns. There are two sides to the court.
I wanted Duren bad, I share your disappointment. I'll be sour for a while if Duren pans out to the top of his potential....
but Sochan is good for what they need. Might be great even and fills a huge need. I feel like maybe there will be better players after him, Duren possibly one of them... but he will be a good and valuable roleplayer. Good floor guy at least.
Also, was a guy mocked to the spurs just almost as much as Duren. Not a surprise there.

Hornets picking up Mike Williams... they are still not interested in Jakob ty very much. They ended up picking up a good center for them still.
Picked up an asset for trading Duren... I think Duren will be better but that's not super clear right now. It's a calculated gamble for them.
Very happy we didn't take Griffin or Davis at 9. Eason falling to 20 would be dope.
