Like Sochan at 9, love Branham at 20, like Wesley at 25. Overall, a nice night for the Spurs!

Spurs drafted their starting PF and 2 shooters with 6'11'' wing spans and 2-way potential. I like it

Both Branham and Wesley can blow up. They're both young and developing and could become nasty scorers. Wesley I think is more of a slasher, but I need to look into them more.

    Yak/Zollins/Landale
    Sochan/KBD
    KJ/Richardson
    Vassell/Branham/Wesley
    Murray/Primo/Jones

Bye bye Lonnie, tbh. And trade McSuckets while you’re at it.

Thank goodness we avoided Baldwin. If we'd taken Griffin or Davis at 9 and Baldwin at 25 I'd be distraught.

I also am very optimistic about this draft. They did pretty well. No real surprises, but that is good.

6'8 and was shown in some mock drafts to go to Spurs. Wouldn't be the worst pick for chemistry purposes

Also it doesn't matter if there is an extra SG that you can't fin in a regular rotation immediately bc compe ion for minutes is a healthy thing, and over the course of a long season you need those minutes anyway for depth, injuries, etc.

I'm good with Sochan at 9. Definitely feels some needs. Better optons were off the board, and the Spurs didn't reach which could end up in another Samanic situation.

We'll see how Branham and Wesley work out...another logjam at guard, but the NBA is getting smaller.

No disasters. Got quality prospects. It made sense. That’s a victory.

AS high as the Spurs appear to be on Primo, you can't just had him minutes without making him earn them. I think over the years the Spurs have kind of promoted a healthy bit of compe ion for minutes... It doesn't mean they doubt them or anything, you just can't hand them things without them showing you they should get those minutes without question.

Worth mentioning no PG drafted. I suppose the Primo is a PG will indeed be a thing, even just for injuries or depth.

Caleb Houstan ended up having that promise after all, glad to find out it wasn't the Spurs. It wouldn't have been the worst thing at 38, but someone took him earlier so ta-da gone.

Procida at 38? Would love them to buy a pick and get Kamagate.

    Procida gone.

What is Portland doing? They need to win now for Lillard and they take Sharpe and Procida?

Jaden hardy... someone who was going to draft him likely traded picks or something happened. He wouldn't have been invited if someone didn't like him enough to go top 25 ...

38 finally coming in... Kennedy Chandler... have no idea who he is, but is a short PG with active hands, very athletic. Finally a PG drafted. Good for depth, glad to see.
