I had this dude as a potential major steal in the draft. He went a completely unconventional route to the NBA and slid through the cracks

Watch his mannerisms while hes miced up.

I would have been happy snagging him at 25 and we got him for free.

We had a really great last few days here

I mean, I guess we don't have an official signing thread already.

This kid will have a better career than Wesley I bet.

    Legitimately, watch his mannerisms.

He was also like the biggest wingspan in the combine.

Definitely intrigued. He put on a good show at rhe combine, so the questions about the lower level compe ion were slightly addressed. Spurs worked with him so they have the opportunity to get a little more indepth feel for him.

Physically elite. Funky form but has touch. Aggressive defender and not flat footed.

    Great signing.

He is pretty fluid for his size he dramatically improved his 3 ball from high school and through his first season. I like his potential but let’s be real Wesley has a much higher chance of being a legit starter for a Good Playoff team then he does. But that is not taking anything away from him I think these two will be spending a lot of time with each in the Austin league for the next year or two. It will be fun to see him play with Sochan I wonder how that pairing will work??

It used to be disallowed because refs tend to only have five fingers on each hand. But still, it's good that the Spurs will be able to retire his jersey.

Reminds me of Mike Wilks, who played for 9 teams and wore #29 for 8 of them, but wore #11 for the Spurs. I always wondered if Pop didn't like weird jersey numbers like that. Maybe Barlow's #26 will finally put that su ion to bed.
