More and more, these private schools are less and less focused on religion. Parents are basically paying to keep their kids away from the bull that public schools have become. At least in Texas. Depending on where you live, and starting at about 6th grade, any particular class might have about 10% of the kids that are trying to learn. Even if you're not religious, it's worth it to isolate your kids from that.

That being said, there are some great school districts that have way better education than many of the private schools. And it's not unusual now to have a kid graduating from public high school with a year or even two of college credits. But those districts are almost always high home values, high tax areas.

There are words in English to show you're making a deduction instead of simply issuing a statement of fact. You should have asked your wife.

I think the question is "who benefits the most from this?"

If everyone has equal access to these funds then it's not really white kids, is it?

I think this just more money in religious school pockets.

In Arizona we elected people stating that as
Taxpapers what you pay into the state of Arizona now the federal you can choice what school gets your tax money.
I think it is a great idea
School choice makes both schools better

In Arizona several thousands of illegals who’s parents do not pay state income
    Tax get free
    Education .
Which is bull when it results in one teacher per like 35
    Students
