    Serious question: what is the track record of franchise players being traded away and then later re-signing with their teams? I can't think of any off the top of my head.

    Teach! 2025 may be more fruitful than this years draft! Injuries and unforeseen stuff makes it very risky to unprotect draft picks….ask the spurs! What if we had done that year before drafting Duncan ? That team the year before would have been solid without the major injuries etc….

    That would be so like Brian Wrong to dump Dejounte when he's on a cheap contract and then get him back on that $200 million deal in 2024.
