I think they will do very well.

Both have PG-SG capabilities and thus can adjust to the defense.

Will rock in the open court too.

    Nate McMillan is real.

I think this team gonna be fun to watch.

ATL going to need to stay healthy.

It's gonna take a while. Also, it's not so much how they play together but how they keep the other 3 engaged on the court. If they play hero ball then it will be another early playoff exit.

A lot of the upstairs crowd thinks DJ was vastly over rated.
Some complaints too about not licking Lord Poppy and TFO boots.
IMO DJ did about as well as he could in the Post Zaza / Pop n Bryn Era of 2018-22.

F that, i hope DJ does well in ATL.
They seem to have a solid nucleolus.

As long as they are in Atlanta, they'll probably make the weak ass Eastern Conference playoffs but probably not get past the 2nd round. Murry doesn't move the needle imo.

Looks like they got off to a very good start on that front.

Treys shot was way off but he must have gotten others involved with 13 assists.
Other shooting % outside of his own all good too.
    Granted, it was the Rockets.

    ATL 136 Detroit 112. 4-1 record.

    Deej 26/4/5
    Trey 36/12/2
    Only 1 turnover between them!

Capella did his thing in rebounding and playing D, Collins too and it was additionally the bench who contributed all around.

20/6/7 with a 20 PER, Deej is getting it done again this year.

Trey having trouble finding his shot, but still keeping the passing up.
His perimeter D could be an ongoing problem.

Beaten soundly by Toronto tonight after losing to the Bucks last night.

    4-3.

Good, we need the Hawks to keep losing, hooefully to the point of imploding so that those draft picks get the best value possible.

Hawks lost again but Deej Murray is still ballin. 26/6/5 on 11-20.

    Trey Young is not.
Anther Kobme type 10-28 shooting performance meanwhile the Jazz Beasley and Markkanen both drilled b2b, late 4th game changing treys. WTF is up with that? Wonder if teams are figuring out Trey cannot guard the perimeter. Yes i know Trey does not guard SFs but wonder if his shrimpiness is allowing the off ball guys to cheat.

they are working pretty well together. Trae's defense will always be a problem, but i think everyone knows that. Wouldn't be surprised if they reach the conference finals. Bogdanovic will give them a huge boost of the bench when he comes back.

Very apparant in last night reaming by the Celtics.
Celtics pounded the three pointers in an otherwise close game.

    Hope so.

Yikes DJ laid an egg tonight.
    4-17
and had a costly turn after the Hawks had pulled to withing 6 with 2 minutes left.

    Cleveland won.
A turn the page game for DJ.

Maybe Nate Mcmillian wanted him to keep horking. I'd rather see him do into Assist mode when he's bricking.

    WTF?

Trae Young and Dejounte Murray scored 44 points and 39 points, respectively. Atlanta had a 16-point lead by the third quarter, and the two All-Star guards began mocking their opponents. Finally, Houston's young squad had enough of the insults, and a skirmish ensued.

As a testament to Houston's toughness and resolve, they were galvanized by the conflict. Houston outscored Atlanta 34-18 in the fourth quarter to complete the comeback victory.

During his post-game media availability, Murray said, “We had control of the game. You know, starting with me and Trae, we take full accountability. I take accountability. This game was on us, you know, it was immature, and that’s really what it is."

Not the taunting but the after effect. (Beside it igniting Houston to kick the Hawks ass in the 4th.)

You see this mocking of Rockets players by Trae and DJ?
Can't find anything on the web.

If true they sure got their arrogance stuffed up their asses in the 4th comeback.

Eeesh. Hawk are only a half game above .500

Lazy pass by Trey to ruin a final game winning shot attempt for ATL.
You got to be aware of how tall Embiid is.

Any word on what came down?
Hope Trae is not turning into a baggy minor version of Kywie Irving and other current NBA punks. Disrupting the team with a Me Me Me agenda.
Trae is seriously slumping with his 3 ball.
Under 30% in November and tonight the bed vs OKC. Blew another 4th qtr lead. 1-7 Kobme type .
