The episode went over your head. It’s fine. It’s not your fault. Some people enjoy a Bordeaux, others prefer Miller High Life. Something for everyone.
i remember liking episodes 2 and 3 quite a bit, and Tina's episode was a nice change of pace... WITH THAT SAID, much like Richie's sudden character arc 180 in season 2 when he suddenly becomes passionate about fine dining after like a 2 minute conversation with Asian guy outside the restaurant he went to train at, i dont feel like the payoff of the Tina episode was earned
during her conversation with Mikey (great scene tbh), she talks about how she has admiration for the hunger the youth show. but where the are the roots of that during the episode? the only time she interacts with young people that episode they're all being pieces of to her. like the guy who she literally told to go himself. its not like there was some scene where she saw some young employee being passionate about their work or anything like that. they are all bored, disinterested s. so her suddenly going on this spiel of having some admiration for the youth was kind of out of nowhere
