"And now we turn it over to Tim Duncan"
Tim: "Speaking of turning it over... Manu Ginobili is here"
Two Spurs in the same class. Manu and George Karl. Sweet.
"And now we turn it over to Tim Duncan"
Tim: "Speaking of turning it over... Manu Ginobili is here"
Manu trying to get extra time for himself to talk with the fewest words said to introduce himself?
worst take ever

Baffles me how fatboys who never played sports have a platform. Just hating from the sidelines. Basketball HoF is by no means upper echelon but if you are going to poke there are better places to make an argument.
dude is a ing clown with arguments about lack of popularity vote honors forgetting that HOF is not NBA only first time I hear about that dude
was thinking TP would get Pop until seeing the presenter has to be HoF already
Pop could go in any time he wants, he's just declined so far. It's not like the players where you have to retire. Jerry Sloan went in two years before he retired. Larry Brown was inducted nine years before he retired.
People have been talking about pop going in since SA won in 2007, giving him 4 coached championships.
Manu should include this piece of in his speech and rip him apart like Jordan did with his former high school coach.
No, because Manu is a good guy, and Jordan is an absolute piece of who happened to play god level basketball.
That would give him publicity, best course of action is ignoring this dumb
The mathematical argument for the Hof's is re ed. Basketball Hof is not NBA only and also includes women. I'm not going to check but easily 1/3 of the basketball Hof are women and international players who never played in the NBA, this ignorant stick has no idea what hes talking about and I'd bet a thousand bucks he has spent time on his show attacking the likes of AI and Melo for not sacrificing for team success and then comes out and s on Manu because he doesn't have individual stats and accolades, sadly this is par for the course with most American fans
God I can’t wait for what Manu has to say in his speech. Of the big three, he seems to be juuuuust the best interview in that he’s engaging without being tactless a la TP, media averse a la TD. On a side note, I’ve been rewatching TD’s speech and I gotta say that was the most emotional I’ve seen him, right up there with ‘13 and ‘14.
Manu's induction is a wonderful thing. Few people have had the international success as him. Can't wait and hope it's televised.
Forget any mathematical model. From 2001 to 2008 he an incredible run.
2001 Euroleage le
2003 NBA le
2004 Olympic gold medalist*
2005 NBA le
2007 NBA le
2008 Olympic bronze medal
That Olympic gold should count extra as it was a team that was not a traditional power nor loaded as USA was with hall of famers.
Through in a le 2014 where at nearing 37 he was the 3rd leading scorer for the team (albeit by a smidgen)
You forgot the World Cup (formerly World Championship) silver medal in 2002. Might have been another gold, but he was inured and missed the gold medal game, and it carried into his rookie season.
Also 2002 Euroleague runner up
27 points in the finals
In part in the 02/03 season the Spurs started surging once he became healthy. Not the only reason, but definitely a major factor
I've always felt he was a lock for the hall of Fame.
I can name a fair number of more marginal people in
I knew he was going in when Drazen Petrovic was selected. At the time, they had nearly identical NBA/FIBA careers, with Manu doing better in the Olympics, and Drazen in the World Cup. Their NBA numbers were very close at the time the late Drazen Petrovic was inducted.
If would be cool if the big 3 plus DRob would be presenter(s) for their Coach Pop.
"the best, most compe ive, and most driven player i've ever played with."
I struggle to find a more classier NBA player.
It's also rare to see that level of compe iveness and not be a complete @$$
And to think the Spurs had two of them
