    Nov. 28, 1964. The selection of Gale Sayers and Butkus in the first round of the 1965 draft remains the only time a team has selected two Hall of Fame players in the first round of one draft.


    The Bears franchise futility to me illustrates the greatness of the 1985 Bears. They beat the Redskins, 49ers and Giants that season combined: 92-20
