pretty cool how much he respects Timmy tho

Shaq has always respected Timmy
He also admires Ewing, he even cried on TNT when talking Ewing not winning ring or something like that
I wonder how Demar DeJordan felt when Shaq picked Isiah and Zo to present him at his HOF induction
I think Shaq meant mentally
true for both tbh
Prime Shaq played against a DRob with a bad back most of the years they matched up.
tbqhfwiw the bad back resulting from years of this
drob was an exceptional talent, but soft for what his position required, especially compared to timmy.
This, D-Rob was jacked and an exceptional athlete, compared to a doughy, lengthy Tim but Tim had all heart and Davey was soft af. Never seen a supposed alpha lose so many playoff series with HCA as this beta. 2000 laid to rest all doubts when he lost to a punchless Suns team without Duncan. I don’t care if it was 4 homeless guys playing with D-Rob, no business losing that series. Lakers beat that Suns team with the quickness, with the only Phoenix win coming in Mother’s Day when those dudes were completely checked out and going through the motions.
David Robinson was a , through and through
He also gets protected by both local and National media for his last few years where he was publicly ing about his contract despite being a known playoff failure.
O'Neal has also said something to that effect about Olajuwon and been insecure about Duncan for years.
Shaq is a decent guy, he's not gonna pick on some autistic dude like duncant.
Funny thing head to head an aging D Robinson got into Shaq’s head and often out played him. In his prime equal teams Shaq was a force but Robinson even better IMO
Almost identical PER and Robinson when healthy easily better on defensive end

Can not really argue with any of this, lbvs.
Drob just lacked the heart/drive to lead. Good 2nd fiddle , though.
shaq sacrificed for his team
drob ballhogged for 71 points in a game for a scoring le
shaq > drob
Rank these backcourts:
1) Hal Greer/Chet Walker
2) Bob Cousy/Sam Jones/KC Jones
3) Oscar Robertson/Bob Dandridge
4) Jerry West / Gail Goodrich
5) Magic Johnson / Norm Nixon
6) Magic Johnson / Byron Scott
7) Kenny Smith / Vernon Maxwell / Sam Cassell
8) Kenny Smith / Clyde Drexler / Sam Cassell
9) Penny Hardaway / Nick Anderson / Dennis Scott
10) Avery Johnson / Vinny Del Negro
11) Derek Fisher / Kobe Bryant
12) Tony Parker / Manu Ginobili
13) Jrue Holiday / Khris Middleton
14) Derek Harper / Greg Anthony / John Starks
Hal Greer / Chet Walker is the clear #1.
Hard to say after that.
Yep especially vs the Jazz and Lakers
