Spurs have never been able to compete on this level year after year.
And we will root for the US fully knowing that our best athletes will NOT compete in this sport.
So really temper your expectations if expecting anything from the national team.

I picked Tottenham 10 to 12 (or so) years ago when EPL started getting some run on US airwaves. About the time Dempsey was on Fulham and then Tottenham.

To be fair that recent UCL finale loss by Tottenham against Liverpool was brutal. The Reds were shockingly there for the taking and Spurs came up small.
