Spain I think has to play with Germany. It’s a group stage, but still will show how the things are going there. No one mention them too much, but besides France, Brazil and England, Portugal and Argentina are strong opponents too. Probably some teams will start playing better in the elimination phase.
If Japan beats Costa Rica, Germany will be playing to stay in the tournament.
Yeah, I'm rooting for Japan, even if just for making things interesting for Germany and Spain. They seem like an annoying team to play.
