Two, not one but 2 Bills defenders got easily thru the Swiss cheese offensive line and were about to sack Lamar. So ya, he had to throw it. No time to plant, no where to step up into the pocket. He had no options, he did the unselfish thing and did an excellent job of getting it near the corner of the endzone where a competent WR had an excellent chance to get the jump ball rebound. You will continue to completely ignore the receiver made a very late break back to the ball. But do tell, what exactly was Lamar supposed to do with the play as it developed? Yes what would Mahomes, Brady, hey even what Josh Allen have done with two virtually untouched rushers coming from both sides. Besides gotten the roughing the passer call.

If he does ANYTHING but throw a pick there, this game likely goes into OT or the Ravens get another crack at it. I know you’re looking for a shoulder to cry on, but putting up a goose egg at home in the 2nd half when you’re a supposed MVP candidate is nobody’s fault but Lamar’s.
