Padres adding on
Hate the move to take Profar out.
Too soon to go to Hader.
Gonna need another run it looks like. Hader looks extremely shaky.
Asking for 3+ outs from your closer to end it always feels like a desperate roll of the dice. I hate it.
GG! Both games were pretty good tonight.
Them Dodgers are hard to close out
Fuuuuuck, Hader made me sweat. Glad he proved me wrong.
Padres get two games at Petco this postseason!
Wheeler impressive outing. Perfect game into the 4th. Wright matched zeros. Braves stayed patient and rallied in the 6th. I think the rust is officially off. Bullpen shut the door.
Tug of war the Padres historically lose. Not tonight. Darvish with another stellar October outing. Padres didn't let off adding a run late. Hader with the 2 inning save
NLDS tied @ 1-1
Hader? Whatchu talking about Willis? He was shaky af. Got the benefit of bogus strike call on both Betts and Tina Turner.
Ok at least Hader did no implode. Other then walking the f-ing tying run on.
Suarez and Martinez were the real savers.
Nice that they got a run here, but Santana was dumb as there.
Alvarez does it again
Alvarez gives the Astros the lead then following an intentional walk to him. Bregman comes thru to tack on insurance.
was at the game. Mariners made some bonehead mistakes
"Whens the last time the NY Yankees played an afternoon playoff game"
Cheeky kunts
Grissom also making his 1st career Playoff start
I think Snitker's decision to start Strider over Morton increases our chances of ending the series in 4 but also losing the entire series. It's a clear gamble. The fear is we burn through our bullpen on the heels of playing 3 straight days.
*Last Home playoff game*
Padres - 2006 [0-2 loss to Cards]
Phillies - 2011 [0-1 loss to Cards]
When the Cardinals wuz kangz
Even a bad day gets better when the Yanks lose.
Now if the Braves and Dodgers lose/the trifecta
