Lakers could provide a lot more than comedy, especially to the Pelicans, who own a 2023 draft pick swap with them. New Orleans is one LBJ or AD injury away from being in the Wembanyama sweepstakes without tanking, while also trying to be a top seed in the West.

Luka's last possession was a microcosm of the biggest flaw in his game. He essentially signaled that he was taking the shot and took his time bringing the ball up the court. He forced himself into a low percentage shot. Then he blamed his teammate for not setting a high pick. Who the is going to come out and set a pick from 30 feet past the basket?

Forbes is so bad. So bad. I watched Conley drive past him going to the basket with Gobert literally standing 2 feet from the basket waiting to swat Conleys into the 5th row, but Forbes decides to flail and bump Conley and somehow ends up with his back to Conley while fouling him. Easy call and 2 free throws for Conley. Absolutely no need to even foul. He just needed to funnel him to gobert. Gobert just looked at Forbes like are you re ed. And Forbes walked off with that stupid look on his face.
