Yeah, but...
You think the Spurs injury reports recently are entirely truthful?
Every single game two, or three guys are out and this is a young team and it's a rotation of players.
Injuries are part of the game.

Good question. I hope they are strategic injuries. That tells me PATFO have a plan back to winning basketball.
Well... you have been paying attention to how they've tended to the injury line, yes?
It tells a tale.
I’m not sure dude. One thing PATFO does well is protect their players. They could have rested DJ down the stretch last year but they didn’t. I think Keldon and Vassell have actually been banged up versus strategically tanking but it is more likely a bit of both.
To be sure:
Nothing can be definitively taken from the amount of evideence we're given.
It’s not about winning the lottery, it’s about winning the lottery the right year. It would have been pointless to win the lottery last year. There was no clear franchise anchor.
Just a Snapple fact about this current losing streak of 8 games. 8 or more loses in a row has only happened 8 times for the Spurs. Those seasons led to the Spurs drafting the following players:
Duncan - HOF - 5 les - 15x Allstar - picked 1st
Robinson - HOF - 2 les - 10x Allstar - picked 1st
Elliott - 1 le - 2x Allstar - picked 3rd
Robertson - 4x Allstar - picked 7th
(Reggie) Johnson - traded after a season and a half - lasted 7 seasons total - picked 15th
Vassell - ??? - picked 11th
This was a tough one, but we managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory and add another loss to the total! OKC was no match for our ability to lose a winnable game. 9 and counting! Third longest streak in team history!
Oh….yeah!
The 3rd longest streak and our first time losing this many since the 1988-89 season.
If we can drop the upcoming game to Houston, we could jump into the #3 spot.
it turns out that the most gut-wrenching thing i watched last night wasn't "All Quite on the Western Front".
yeah, every time that I think the Spurs are going to take the #1 seed in the tank tourney, the rockets say "hold my beer".
Jakob has a bone bruise, which means he’ll be out for a while. That pretty much means that the restricted area is a turnstile. They’d have to not drive to not score at the rim.
If we beat the rockets im going to be pissed
Detroit won a game, and dropped from 1st to 3rd. It’s a razor thin margin.
Appears Popped has gotten over himself and has embraced the tank?
OKC game.
10 in a row. Tied for the second longest streak in team history. This one was pretty much decided in the third quarter.
Next milestone: 13 losses in a row way back in the ‘89 season. Go Spurs Go!![]()
Let's get it!!
Great loss. Loving it. Let's do this!!!
The Rockets just beat the Suns!! That win puts them a half game ahead of us in the standings.
Just 1 game behind Orlando for worst record in the NBA.
Are the bottom 4 Lottery (4 with most losses) all at an even 14% chance?
