No spurs no
Got us to 3rd in the losing column
Last I saw, the Rockets wetr down 19 to Portland.
Still stuck@9 wins with Houston in 3rd
Based on Vegas odds of who goes #1 overall, it seems like SA needs for sure a top 4 pick. It went something like Wemby -700, Scoot +300, and then the freshmen Arkansas PG and Nova PG both around +1000, then a huge drop-off to around +3000. So maybe let's not ourselves if we don't get Wemby or Scoot.
With Poeltl back, I just don’t see the Spurs losing more games than Houston, Detroit or Charlotte. Washington also seems to be going full tanking, Chicago and OKC are more settle about it.
That changes by the day.
The tankiest stuff happens after the trade deadline, and we’re well positioned. Hopefully, someone meets our price for Jak, and he’s no longer a drag on the tank. As long as we’re in the bottom 5, we should have a good shot at dropping after the deadline. The teams from 6-10 will be dumping players at the deadline in a desperate attempt to catch the bottom feeders, but that’s really difficult to do.
Orlando looks like they're putting it together a little, beating a struggling Boston team twice in a row.
OKC looks like their badness is setting in -- having a volume-shooting SG as your only winning player isn't that great. I expect Presti to find an 'injury' for Shai and shut things down.
Orlando is def gonna be a fun team to watch the rest of the season. They've got a pretty talented young core.
I think SGA will tire of The Tank, and request a trade.
Presti can't help it. Boy's addicted. But I think he can tell Shai -- next year we'll have Wembanyama and Holmgren. We'll have the tallest, ugliest team ever constructed. It'll be all the way until February 2024 that we start tanking again.
Wizards have officially joined the tankathon. Only one loss behind us.
Come to think of it, Presti might delight in trading SGA. More picks to play with, more lotteries to enjoy.
Which is wild as he loves to play with picks as the teams just flounder with them.
Funny thing is that wizards are in win-now mode, with supermax beal, max porzingis and wannabe star kuzma. How can they be this bad?
Chicago, same.
Well, supermaxing Beale was revoltingly stupid. They did a fantastic job of getting out from under Wall's contract and still suck. The Johnny Davis pick this year looks like a total bust. He was awful from the start.
Spurs are going to have a compe ion for that top 4
I just got the alert that Zion would be out tomorrow, so hopefully the other Pelicans can step it up.
spurs have no chance vs the pels. Even without z
That's what I want to hear.
Orlando beat Houston tonight we we remain in temp solid 4th.
Houston is gonna be tough to out tank with Gramps at the helm.
but then we turn around and play the magic
Orlando is 7-3 in their last 10. They beat Boston twice in a row.
