Chiefs just ran a play that I don't think should be legal, but the refs didn't throw a flag.
For those that weren't watching: it looked like the Chiefs were running a jet sweep with Sky Moore but Mahomes didn't handed the ball backwards, he did a little flick forward, which should count as a forward pass. Then Moore threw a backwards pass to Mahomes, for Mahomes to intend a forward pass again. That's two forward passes in the same play, how wasn't it flagged?
Yeah I was wondering about that play. The announcer literally called it a handoff while the replay clearly showed him tossing the ball forward at the same time.
