Dejounte didn’t really say anything about the spurs. Even the Parker bit came mostly from SJax.
truth nukes of what ?
dude is saying all and the contrary, Spurs did not want me to play but they send me in POs against the rockets then offered me Parker spot... but then Parker did not want to mentor me![]()
I know bb players are not the brightest but this one has the IQ of an hot oyster
he thinks he is the next Curry or something ? Spurs were mean to me
gtfoh
not a good look for dejounte
man remember how right Parker was about Kawh-ripple? Spurs GOATPG legacy cemented tbh
Entertaining interview.
You can also see that Jack is still butthurt and still can't let it go all these years later.
Good trolling material for upstairs, but love how Jackson always uses the Spurs for clout while Tim/Manu/Tony/Pop all just mind their business.
Jackson's got some mental health issues to work on, tbh.
Can't deny Parker was at the far end of the selfish spectrum where Spurs players are concerned, especially considering what Manu went through and how unselfish TD seemed to be. Tony gets no love for his greatness, largely because he had to take his since Pop wasn't going to give it to him. For Tony, Pop was JK Simmons in Whiplash. Tony had to play to his tempo, but there was a reward for it in 4 championships since they had the pieces. With DJ, it was about Kawhi. DJ was good enough to be a topic of discussion but in San Antonio he was just another diamond in the rough that PATFO got credit for.
This dude was always ing injured during TP's last years... him
Whether you like Murray or not he was dumped for trash by the FO one of the latest of many nebulous moves. Gone are the days when the FO was one of the best in the league. Now it is 2nd rate at best.
What's with Spurs players exposing stuff?
And don't get me started on Primo
IG baller doing IG stuff, nothing to see here...move along fellas
25 years of coaching, one guy came in and the worst thing to be said is pop forcing him to say what’s true? Like, faint of heart?
Manu was better than Jax
But Green isn’t tbh
At least Jax could hit big shots unlike Verde
At that point, SJax was garbage.
Spurs had their best teams the 2 years after Jax was cut lmao. Almost as if they somehow were a better team without delusional dead weight hanging around.
Year SJax was cut the spurs made the finals, first time since 2007. The next year they won it all, with SJax playing 9 games with the clippers averaging 1.7 ppg.
So it’s only natural to think SJax is in the right and the spurs handled the situation terribly. Great logic.
