all due respect that bubble season was a completely different level than even a shortened NBA season. Look at travel amount, court advantage, no crowd intensity. Completely different, lower level of challenges to a ring. Hats off to the Champs no doubt but there is some context due for sure there.
Wasn’t Brons first chip in 2012 also a shortened season?

That was 2011 when the Mavs beat the Heat.

Shortened season -- everybody plays the same number of games.

Cancelled season, then revived for glorified summer scrimmages during deadly pandemic -- nothing.

The bitter truth is, if they award a trophy, it counts, the same as all the others.

Lakers had HCA and lost it because of the bubble. All teams played at a neutral site. Lakers got hosed in that regard.

Players that need a crowd to motivate them are weak minded IMO. Lakers dominated all season, culminating in a championship.

Your autopsy!? I’m sorry to hear that. Had you been feeling ill, or was it something sudden? I hope you didn’t end it all because of despair over being unable to get rid of Westbrook. If so, I can sympathize.

Lakers with three refs and no witnesses is better than any home court. Facts.

Deserves an asterisk, but a smaller one than the 1999 le.

How so? 1999 le featured a 50-game season. For context, the 2020 Lakers were 57-0 when leading after 3 quarters, en route to their championship. Like the 1999 Spurs, they were dominant, especially in the paint.

The 2020 Lakers won 7 more games than the 1999 Spurs played. That's crazy

Only other difference is 1999 was a lockout season (choice). 2020 was shortened due to a worldwide pandemic (not by choice).

    Here's my autopsy:

    1999*
    2020*

Sorry that the Spurs played less games than the rest of the NBA in 1999.

You guys can say what you want but the supply/demand of NBA talent lets people like Kyrie be the aloof, escaped mental patient he is. Lebron coming back to Cleveland really did a number on him.

Kyrie was already a whacko at Duke.

But winning the chip with the King really gave him too much spotlight, and he went off the reservation (pun intended).
