I'd moved from SA to in El Lago at the time, going to grad school at UH Clear Lake for another degree, and teaching "Freshperson" (hah, the beginnings of woke) English 101 as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. Too damned long to be having too much fun.

    It's been a fun twenty years. Was wondering where the everyone went and then got an email from timvp one day so immediately signed up. Still remember when Mark Bryant and I would hit on Kori Ellis relentlessly in chat only to find out timvp actually got her.

    So many good times here. I remember doing RRT previews and knowing everything there was to know about every player, draft and overseas prospect. Mouse doing his mouse . Mono and all his alts. All the Rappin trolls. Lakaluva getting exposed as a Naruto lol. Been a wild ride but a community that I would never change. Happy 20th, ST. Perhaps I'll get my together and start doing real basketball analysis again.

    LJ and Kori are honestly some of the coolest people ever. I'm sure we can't even imagine the work they have put in to keep this place going.

    I was basically a kid when I started posting here, but always felt welcomed. Fond memories of playing pickup games with the ST crew. Got lucky enough to win a free ticket one time and joined LJ for a game....was the same game where Dejuan Blair got frustrated after a turnover, pulled the jersey over his head instead of getting back on defense, and basically wrote his ticket out of San Antonio.

    Many props to the Ellis' and to everyone for making this crazy community what it is
