some already talking about an a&m/ut matchup but i'm not so sure the aggies get past penn state. buzz really pissed off that NCAA selection committee with his rant last year.

Am I wrong for thinking that Texas should have gotten Houston's #1 spot in the Midwest bracket? Seems like a rough draw for me. I don't know how good Texas A&M really is but still seems like a tough second round matchup.
a&m has a strong defense, will make texas work and can get to the free throw line. taylor is an outstanding PG and they have some strong players. but they don't have any legit three point threats and have a hard time stretching defenses. they just are effective at controlling pace and winning ugly. texas is too guard rich for a&m. the only chance the ags would have is if they got hot from three point range. but i agree that texas should have had UH's #1 seed instead. maybe they'll get to meet in the elite eight and determine who really deserved the higher seed at that point.

u soy boys dont watch cbb........ never pick an acc/pac10/big10 team to win the tournament........ sec/big12/ bigeast r the best conferences..........
That's kinda silly. Pac10 I agree. Entire West Coast if you wanna include Gonzaga
But ACC has 3 different Champions in the past 7 Tournament. 4 if you go back to 9 Tournaments.
Big10 is probably most wasteful considering all the quality teams they've produced over the past decade.

Props to my Islanders for playing hard, even with a ty performance by their best player. They lost by 21, but in the 2nd half, they only lost by 1. As poor as they played in the 1st half, they played outstanding in the 2nd.
Props to my Longhorns for their 20-point victory. So now we wait on PSU and A&M to play......As much as I hate em, I am kind of rooting for A&M. I really want the Horns to be the ones to end their season.

Without those 3s by the guards they lose with that kind of passing.
Not a good game. The D was very good at times and then just sucked at other times.

penn state has lost 13 games......they were swept by wisconsin & rutgers both missed the tournament & loss 1st round of nit........their entire offense is pg post up pass to 3 point.....texas should out rebound & out athletic penn st........win by 10........
