would you be ok releasing the hundreds of thousands of inmates across the usa in jail for misdemeanors and non-violent crimes?
if you think small crimes like trumps ny crimes are not worth prosecuting…
you break the law and the evidence proves your guilt - you get prosecuted- period.
and again
you are STILL defending the criminal traitor piece of - which makes you no better than that piece of
Only a loser like you would call three sentences a "text wall". Especially when the third sentence was "then again he may just be stupid enough to perjure himself." Learn how to read dumbass.
You might want to actually look at the facts before spouting stupid . Statute of limitations on the state misdemeanor charge was two years. Bragg (a city Burroughs DA) is trying to elevate the 7 year old misdemeanor into a federal campaign violation. Im not even a lawyer and I could probably win that case if Trump just admits he banged the porn star.
You might want to check those facts before correcting others, you just misrepresented the case. The press is speculating that Bragg is unprecedentedly trying to apply a NY law to a federal election. You said that he's trying to turn the hush money payment into a federal violation. That's inaccurate on the law, and it may not even happen: the grand jury would have to return a true bill on that.
Bragg might also bring false business records charges. Depending on the underlying crime alleged, which we do not know, Trump "admitting he banged a porn star" may or may not be an effective defense. Trump's lawyer so far has been denying Trump had sex with Daniels, and only paid her to spare his family embarrassment. He's portraying Trump as the victim of extortion by Daniels and overzealous prosecution by Bragg. Only the latter is plausible imho.

There is a two year statute of limitations on the charge of misrepresenting business records. As I understand it, he can't even charge Trump unless he spins that into a Federal election campaign violation which could still be within the statute of limitations on that charge.
I suspect that there is enough evidence available to convince a jury that Trump banged Daniels. Thats why Trump needs to just admit he banged her and not lie to the jury and open himself up to a perjury charge. He still has the defense that he made the payment to hide it from his wife and not to influence the election.
For an interesting precedent you guys might read up on John Edwards and his pregnant mistress. Even though the paid her a million dollars using campaign funds they didn't find him guilty mainly because he claimed he did it to hide it from his wife and not to influence the election.
Also remember that Cohen plead guilty to the campaign violation only because they had him dead to rights on 4 million if tax evasion and they made that a condition of his plea.

That is not a misdemeanor Mr Fox News
lol spinning for team Trump.
had you read the article, you'd have seen that NY's statute of limitations may not be so cut and dried as you're saying
New York law extends its statute of limitations to cover periods when a defendant was continuously out of state — Mr. Trump has spent much of his time since 2016 in Washington, D.C., and Florida — and former Gov. Andrew Cuomo of New York extended the state’s statute of limitations by more than a year during the pandemic.
*shrug*
We will see, won't we?
Hastert, like Trump, falsified his records to cover up hush money. He admitted the child abuse, but went to jail for the fake records.
https://www.thebulwark.com/why-trump...money-matters/When he was a high-school wrestling coach in the 1960s through 1980s, Hastert molested at least four boys. In 2010, one of them—referenced as “Individual A” in court do ents—confronted Hastert, and the retired congressman agreed to pay the man $3.5 million to stay quiet about the abuse. A few years later, the FBI and IRS began investigating Hastert for making unusual bank withdrawals. While Hastert originally claimed to investigators that he was taking out the money because he didn’t trust the banks, his lawyer later told investigators Hastert had made the withdrawals because he was being extorted by Individual A.
Recall that Trump also accused Daniels of extortion.
It didn’t work for Hastert. He went to prison, but not for the reasons you might think.
Due to the statute of limitations, Hastert could not be prosecuted for his crimes against boys, although he admitted to the abuse during his sentencing hearing. Rather, he was put away for illegally structuring the hush money payments. He reported to prison in June 2016, and ultimately served 13 months of a 15-month sentence.
seems iffy to me, but I'm not a lawyer either. it'd be a mistake to rely on your theory, though, you got the law wrong.
Here is an interesting article about the difficulty of proving campaign violations. it's long but very detailed.

You know he welshed on our bet and he owes me 2 grand. You know I've run him out of the political forum and into hiding multiple times. You know why he won't answer this question why did you leave the political forum and go into hiding when Mueller didn’t put Trump in prison.
Watch...I'll ask him again and his ass won't answer.
Pretty sad you're trying to prop up the forums biggest welsher. I never welshed on our bet, I expected more from you.![]()
Why did you leave the political forum and go into hiding when Mueller didn’t put Trump in prison?
Stop being a little pussy and answer the question.
The irony of this post consider Bragg is the prosecutor![]()
you might actually want to remove trumps mushroom from your mouth and consider:
Cohen went to prison for this crime which the SDNY already filed in court and they stated: cohens crime was at the direction and the coordination and at the request of individual -1
but
Treasonous Bill Barr illegally intervened and ordered the SDNY to remove cohens charges and stop prosecuting any other people involved
weak ass Garland dropped the ball by being a weak pussy
alvin bragg- dropped the ball also- but has now picked up his ballsack and appears ready to do his job.
we do not know which charges yet he will include if and when there is an indictment of your cult daddy
trump could just…
STOP COMMITTING CRIMES!
lol
