DMX7 wanted to know if terry could recruit........... gerry hamilton says terry/texas currently leads for 4 top 20 2024 prospects including the #1 player in the class.........that player would be the highest rated texas player ever surpassing durant........

Needs the portal as well.
Its very apparent having older stronger more composed players with experience goes a long way.
Gerry is saying Texas has interest in this transfer from RiceOne name that Inside Texas believes the Longhorns have real interest in, is USC transfer guard Reese Waters-Dixon. The 6-foot-5 guard was the Pac-12 Sixth Man of the Year this season. He transfers with two years remaining, which makes him even more attractive. There has been contact made.
Two names that IT hears has interest in Texas are North Carolina very talented transfer guard Caleb Love, and Oregon 7-footer Kel’El Ware.

Petty sure the NC transfer Love is a rotten apple

AJ Johnson may not be coming to Texas now and instead going to the NBL. Arterio Morris may test the portal as well but could be a raise play
Sean Miller was the coach that was interested in the Texas job.Texas has reached out to inson, but Maryland appears to be the front runner after a recent coaching hire.
Texas has reached out to Tylor Perry, guard from North Texas. Tech people think Texas leads, and Gerry likes him more than a lot of others in the portal.
Gerry is leaning towards Disu returning, as he believes that Disu wants to return.
Terry and staff making an in-home with USC transfer guard Reese Dixon-Waters today, per IT[COLOR=rgb( var(--theme-text_light) )]

Like whom?
You think people on the board thought Beard was a bad coach? Who said that? You think UT fans wanted this to happen?
Beard fkd himself and UT. We had a good run with a veteran team that Beard built. we were one injury away from a final 4 appearance, thats not bad at all.
It’s like 3 threads down
“official rodney terry has been named texas coach”
You said “You think people on the board thought Beard was a bad coach? Who said that? You think UT fans wanted this to happen?”
I never said any of that quit saying I said that-it disingenuous and you do this all the time.
Urikel is small time, like I said, for the mega UT job.
That buy out is gonna be huge.
And I still say
Like I did before
That I hope I am wrong
But I do not think I will be
So WHO scoffed you... or scoffed at you?
The subject people talked about was that some recruits would leave if Terry was not coach.
They are not getting Beard back. If you go back and read the threads almost everyone agreed Beard was a damn good coach.
Who was your replacement for Terry?
sean miller wanted the texas job........
Read the tread for the scoffers
The recruits left anyway.
Urkel is not the answer and was a mistake. UT got a guppy to navigate in a big pond.
It’s not my job to find a competent coach but my intuition so far is correct. Urkel can’t get the studs.
I was right so far
Recruits leave all the time. hating just to hate and wanting props for it is just sad. pb has already flip flopped in this thread once you may too
What’s sad is hiring this dude who has had ZERO record of major college coaching success.
