I see Payton is getting in on the Apemond abusive defense schtick.
I have heard Bogut say in an interview that him and Draymond would act super crazy and yell at the refs all the time during the regular season to set a baseline of tolerance that over time the refs would get used to it. That to me is my theory why a lot of them let Draymond slide with his yelling and complaining. It's due to the refs being desensitized to it. I also think the league sends them a memo not to toss Draymond out of the game easily which gives Draymond more leverage with them.

The way Draymond was acting after he hit Sabonis was something out of WWE. Especially the way he was egging the fans on. I honestly don't think he believed he would get ejected. He should be suspended but I doubt he will. This is a man who has gotten way with kicking guys in the nuts before.
