Yeah, next round is semi finals in 5 vs TP's team starting Sunday. Then the finals in 5 too. Just in time if the Mets make the finals (up to May 20 for a game 5), for Wemby and Bilal to go to the draft the 22.

Seems like he's only give 50% or so of him out there, playing very cautious not getting hurt
Anyone else watching the game? Was 38 - 32 for the Mets at half-time vs ASVEL. Victor with 10 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 blocks so far.

I forgot. Watching now.

Going well so far after 3 quarters: Mets92 57 - 47 ASVEL.
Wemby with 16 points, 10 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 blocks.
The game should be live for free on the NBA App.
EDIT: note that ASVEL is playing Youssoupha Fall who's just as tall as Wemby, that's always interesting how he deals with it. Fall has 10 points, 7 rebounds so far.
Wemby taking some ill-advised 3s but it looks like the game is in hand. 7 point lead with 50 seconds left.
He got the ball with three seconds on the shot clock. Not a lot of options.
That was just one of them. (But in fairness he did make at least a couple.)
Victory 75 - 69 for the Mets 92. They now lead 1 - 0 in the series.
Wemby with 19 points, 14 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 blocks, 3 steals in 34 minutes.
Awesome!
I'm on team Stay Healthy For Spurs 100%.
And yet he and his team still:
Oh yeah, you're right. He hit one and then took an ill-advised one the next possession. They called it a heat check. You gotta hit at least two before you're en led to a heat check, especially in the playoffs.
Next game is Tuesday at 11:30 am Pacific, 1:30 pm Central.
Looks like Wemby has a maximum of five games left. Possibly two more in this best of three and possibly three more in the Finals (assuming I understand the French League playoffs at all ).
Hes gonna have a long summer....guessing hes not gonna be in the summer league.
Semi-final and final are best of five, so the max is 9 games left. Last game of the final will be played on june the 20th (is it goes to five games).
Then he will have a month off before joining team France on july the 24th to prepare for the world cup (providing the Spurs are ok to let him go).
Yeah, he'll probably just be in street clothes in Vegas (like Sochan last year).
But at least he should be done with the French League in time to be at the draft if he wants to.
Bottom line, this guy loves to play, so you can't completely rule out Vegas (if he's making that call) . . .
Thanks for the clarification.
I assume Wemby will be signed before both the Summer League and the World Cup. That at least leaves open some possibilities. Since the Spurs are a player-friendly outfit and Pop (in particular) loves international players and international play, who knows what will happen with the French team.
lol at all the random English terms.
Bilal defensive instincts and IQ at 8:19
Insane, though I can’t say I love that he has to resort to a fade away almost three when he has a midget on him in the post.
First full game Ive watched of wemby was today.
Pros- Can get a shot off whenever he wants, made some tough shots look effortless, looked vocal out there with teammates, conditioning looked top notch.
Cons- He was pushed around in the paint a fair amount, getting physical with him threw off his ability to block shots.
