RIP
^my favorite performance unrelated to below
Recently I watched with family, her concert from 1990 performed in the Barcelona Olympic Stadium. One of those classic pre-Cell Phone shows where entire crowd of 55K are all singing together in complete unison. A beautiful site and I imagine experience.
What attention do you think the OP was seeking?
Any attention whatsoever... Show me a Tina Turner fan here and I'll show you a ing liar who simply knows of her and seeks attention.
Was a big fan of her legs and What's Love Got to do With It.
Weren't we all as children... Or what it because she was everywhere back then and we were inundated by her? Those panty hose commercials are golden.
Back in her solo heyday I'm sure many here were at least casual fans.
Why do you feel the need to be SpursTalk thought police?
Only her 2020 onward legs tho.
No one here was casual fans... If anything our mothers were fans and not all of us who are about my same age. I was a child when Tina Turner was at her peak so no none of us were casual fans whatsoever. Who you trying to kid?
Thought police? Lol!
Plenty could be from Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome and the Whats Love Got to Do with It movies alone, or the GoldenEye song. Just a stupid thing to say. People never dig into older artists they heard sometime?
Policing thoughts and determining 40 years of other people's thoughts is precisely what you are doing here.
Let people think what they want about Tina Turner. It's not like you're going to stop them.
Another moment where your mortality becomes apparent. Not a fan in the fan sense, but she was played quite a bit by my mom and R.I.P.
RIP, Acid Queen.
Don't underestimate the power of his calf tats
Private tatter, tatter for money
You missed him telling me he was going to get his friends to beat me up when I told him I was going to come to his shop and knock him the out during my visit to San Antonio last November.
Links, plz.
RIP
My earliest memory of her was in Tommy. She also sang backup on a Frank Zappa album and cooked food for him and his band one weekend.
Yup, Tommy for me as well. Grew up with a mom born in 1958 and obsessed with The Who, Pink Floyd, and to an extent the Beatles. She said she always had had a crush on Roger Daltrey for some reason. Guy doesn't seem that great looking to me and he's shorter than me, but he's intelligent as .
Me three on Tommy
