In addition to some really nice finishes he had, his defense today was outstanding. I can definitely see the intrigue with him and someone “reaching” to grab him in the 10-15 range. Afraid the price tag is a little too expensive at this point for us to end up with him.

    As others have said

He is a lot like Keldon but if you took a portion of his offensive punch and put it towards defensive skill instead

Whats really intriguing is his playmaking. You can tell he used to play PG. They used him as the ballhandler quite a lot today and he almost always got to the rim out of a pick & roll

I honestly like him better than any of the PGs that have been suggested here

Massive buzz among other fanbases for Coulibaly in the top 10. Victor has made his friend a ton of money.

Surely Wemby put eyes in front of the game, but he also made it himself by playing well when it counts.

Safe to say he's not gonna slip past #10 to Dallas

Hope he’s paying Wemby commission. He easily made millions more. But good on him: he saw the opening and smashed open the door.

Mets 92 losing most of their PGs benefited Bilal by allowing him to showcase his ballhandling.

Higher upside than Keldon. Just needs to get stronger with age.

Solid prospect, don’t buy the high ceiling that people are throwing around.

Yeah, he's getting wildly overesteemed right now. Good for him, though.

Garuba got a lot of hype in 2021 because he was the only one playing at this time of year.

If this is true could be a pretty costly sidekick…
I'm curious though, how many of these reports of draft prospects getting "promises" actually turn out to be true in hindsight? Like, looking back at previous years' drafts?

I still remember the Houston Rockets having three firsts in 1998 and promising local HS star Rashard Lewis they would draft him with their first of the three so he stayed in the draft. So instead they draft Michael erson, Mirsad Turkan, and ing Bryce Drew with their three picks and Lewis falls to the second round is crying in the interview when Seattle finally takes him at 32. That was so hard to watch. The Houston news would show highlights of Lewis every time Alief Elsik played and everyone was expecting big things of him only for the Rockets to lie to the kid and not even take him with three chances. I'm so glad Lewis ended up having a great career. I think anyone who watched that draft and saw the devastation on the kid's face was rooting hard for him to succeed.

yeah the issue with not honoring a promise is the agents have long memories. more often a player gets picked sooner than the promise and no one cares, and i'm sure not more than zero promises are fake and designed to hide injuries and what not
