Anyone played the pre-release? Who's planning to buy it?

I was massively skeptical given Blizzard but I've had multiple friends telling me it's the real deal, so I'm now going to likely pick it up as long as the reviews don't indicate major issues.

Loved Diablo 1 & 2 back in the day, but there is too much stuff I'm really interested in this year to have time for it, especially while I'm not even halfway through Zelda TOTK. Good chance I get FFXVI this month or next when I'm done with TOTK, then it's Starfield, then Spiderman 2, and if Like a Dragon Gaiden comes out at any time in between that moves to the head of the line.

Zelda's great but it's enormous. Have been playing it for a month now and am still less than halfway through it.

Yep I bought a 1080 with the hope it would run SC on high settings. That card won't even be min spec by the time it launches.

Picked it up. It's really solid so far. Maybe Blizzard's last good game?

imo they should bring back the runes like in d2:lod...would keep on doing runs just to find runes for godly builds or set builds...funni thing is how good was it back in the day when on dialup internet u can play multiplayer games like d2, wc2, starcraft without any lagging

I don't remember how the runes worked, but those gems in D2 were so ing broken and easy to copy/duplicate. We'd have dozens of maxed out gems laying all over the ground in town for whoever wanted to pick some up and slot them.

Definitely a really solid game. Graphics are fantastic, atmosphere is terrific, and the build paths are easy to understand but have a lot of depth. Blizzard did their homework and built a really damn fine ARPG.
