Definitely Champagnie of the two, but the answer might end up being "neither".
Langford just hasn't shown enough to be worthy of a new contract imo.
I'm picking the Champ. He has a good offensive game and his defense wasn't too shabby. I would rather let him get minutes and develop over Langford

Champagnie between the two and its not close
i'm not positive that i'd give him a regular nba deal, but would certainly like him back on a 2-way. SF has something of a logjam now, especially if we are going to try bigger lineups with sochan sliding down. but i like him as a more explosive fill-in than KBD. i used to really dislike KBD, and frankly he was god awful for a lot of last year, but he finished the season pretty well and became an actually reliable shooter. i wouldnt hate KBD holding a back end roster spot with champagnie on a 2 way
if champagnie refuses a 2 way and wants a big league deal, i'd probably do it on a 2 year deal with a team option
i cant think of any scenario where i want langford back tbh

Let this suffice as an answer (although both are potential assets).
This is smorgasbord time -- no pressure just a lot of evaluation coming up.
Enjoy it while it lasts, soon it will be winning time again, Pop will be on edge again, and the pressure will be on again.
Langford won't be on the team next year.
Champagnie... might.
Langford lol
A player only Miss Cleo would love
What kind of contract is Mamu on?
There’s an argument to be made, you need to spend money, so upgrade the team, if Champ will take a two way, keep him, if not, eh, spend and upgrade.
Champagnie by far. Really want him signed, I think he can do what McDermott does while being better on D
i like both they'll be back on cheap deals especially if KBD walks or they find someone better and yes shooting and defense will matter these next few yrs for the guys at the end of the roster
champ...think he will play well along side wemby....Hes still young as well
I don't want Langford back under any cir stances. Maybe he figures it out, but that's not the Spurs' problem
Think he’s a ways from being that quality a shooter, but you don’t have to quite be McDermott good to be a specialist.
Sorry, but Langford ing sucks.
Really dumb question
Do the Spurs have any hold on Champagnie, Barlow or Mamu?
In other words are they completely unrestricted?
Champagnie will be McD replacement once he’s traded at trade dealine. And Champagnie has shown he not only can shoot, but can rebound and play defense too.
Langford has shown glimpses of great defense. But he can’t seem to string good games together nor even healthy enough to be there. Last season was odd with mysterious injuries in the team. But if only he could play that well consistently, Romeo’s defense is the kind you want in your team. With 3 rookie drafts, something has to give. And sadly it might just be Langford.
Of the two, Champ no doubt. Langford makes Anthony Davis look like an Iron man.
Langford simply hasn't shown the consistency required of an NBA player in what skills he has. If you can't bring it every night when you are a marginal player for a couple of years, then you aren't going to continue to take up space on a roster. He got his shot at the big time, but hasn't taken the opportunity given. Plenty of other players in the pipelines waiting to push him out of the league.
One thing in Langford's defense -- he's pretty physical and the Spurs roster really lacks that in the guard position (6'5" and less).
The Spurs' guards are a great group but pretty unimpressive physically, Vassell, Branham, Wesley, Tre Jones, Graham. Langford has what they used to call "an NBA body."
Langford could fill a niche if he can stay healthy and, of course, become a bit more effective. Now is the time to look at potential, put on rose-colored glasses and experiment. Thankfully, hand-wringing is finally coming to an end.
Parting is such sweet sorrow.
Even if you guaranteed me Langford would play in all 82 games i wouldn’t want him back
Assuming they can sign Champagnie to a 2-way or a Bassey-like contract, then I’d like to see him come back.
To be fair, I wouldn’t hate the idea of signing Langford to a Bassey-like contract, but I don’t see him accepting that.
Langford plays solid defense. He gets hurt, but if he’s fine for spot starts and backing up others.
Both of them are replacement-level players at best.
