Maybe some day they’ll finally adapt Blood Meridian.

Damn. I was wondering why they were talking about some of his books on the radio today. Looks like he was the on e tasked with writing the screenplay https://www.slashfilm.com/1303530/bl...rmac-mccarthy/.

I don’t know where they go from here. I’d rather “them” not do anything if they can’t do it right.

Other than The Road, I couldn't get through any of his books. I wanted to like Blood Meridian but his style is just impenetrable.

Like just use ing quotation marks, you condescending prick.

Yeah, I had to just read it in the bathroom a page or two at a time. I read several sentences at a time, and when there is little or no punctuation my brain shorts out. But I am glad I did read it. No Country for Old Men was fantastic, and Child of God was hard to read for other reasons, but also very good.

Really need to pick up more his books one of these days. The Road is the only one I've read so far.
