LAS VEGAS (AP) — Las Vegas police confirmed Tuesday that they served a search warrant this week in connection with the long-unsolved killing of Tupac Shakur, propelling the case back into the spotlight nearly 30 years after his death.

Shakur, one of the most prolific figures in hip-hop, was gunned down the night of Sept. 7, 1996, in a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas. He was 25.

No arrests have ever been made. Yet attention on the case, which has seen its share of conspiracy theories, has endured for decades.

Tragedy for sure that that happened, but realistically statute of limitation for domestic murder should be 10 years

Always thought the Pac murder case was pretty straightforward: Suge and Pac stomped a Crip in Biggie's security at a Vegas casino and they came back on Pac. The wild case was when a couple of Bloods from LAPD's Rampart division that were down with Suge did the hit on Biggie a few months later. That caused the LA city courts to have to overturn every conviction that came out of Rampart.

QAnon`ers at the Ohio trump rally last fall sure seemed to agree with that theory.

Yeah that story arc of Penn coming to his senses through tragedy is pretty damn ironic.

It is an arbitrary number, but a round and logical one nonetheless.

Increases sense of urgency for law enforcement to solve homicide cases in a TIMELY fashion and gives people peace of mind if they have gone over that mark. Bottom line is, it's ridiculous to have no statute of limitation on that

Also sort of in the spirit of the 6th Amendment. Right to a speedy trial... Also right to not be unfairly tried for anything you did literally over a ing decade ago when you were a drastically different person.

Definitely one of the more hardcore libertarian positions I hold

Nobody White wants to end up on a bread line, or, in a re-education camp because he/White man didn't kiss Black man ass in a situation like Tupac. And it's no sweat off their back. They're gettin' that fat check every 2 weeks and that pension is comin' sure as the turnin' of the earth, so, they'll do their...wait for it, J.T. their (due diligence) to find out who killed this fine, upstanding fellow. MSM will be along for the ride, the whole way and will make to rewrite history so that we forget (especially the new generations) about Tupac gang bangin' to the beat the band. Nary mention of ANY of that will be mentioned and if some wise ass White man opens his mouth about it, he'll be duly put in the aforementioned re-education camp and his mind put right...then he'll get a free meal at the nearest bread line. Two pack ed around and the proverbial adage.........found out.

You want to be in a re-education camp, a bread line, bum? Keep it up with that . We're not doing that on this go/round. This is a fresh go/round, we're gonna take it easy, no expense will be avoided. All the money that went to White man from town have tragedy befall him and his will now be spent on Black man like Tupac. Oh, it's gonna be fun. Some fat White police/political big shot, 75lbs overweight will take to the mic, behind him will be tight lipped Black men posing as Black women. Some ugly woman, and I mean in' butt ugly, dressed in black, with a Adam's apple will do the sign language bit. A Black cop with like 6 stars on his uniform each side of his head on his shoulder pads will stand just back of the White guy selling his White soul..."I am White. I am ashamed of my White, but I promise to get to the bottom of this case. We have a lot of money, money will be no object, we have a lot of money. I love the Black man. I am sorry I am White. I'm 75lbs overweight and having heart palpitations, thank you so much, and now our Chief of Police, he has 6 stars on his each of shoulder pads, Chief can you say a few words...I'm sorry, talk as long as you want, no limits. Chief..."

This to/do ain't gonna be about guns/low riders on the Vegas Strip, (Suge)(Biggie) and the Crips as well. This is gonna be a full on Resurrection/metaphorically speaking of Tupac, in the broad daylight, all the trimmings inclusive. He'll be feted, he'll be canonized, and he'll be memorialized. And whomever insists on bringing up the subjects you brought up in your "indictment" will be run to ground and you'll be subject, but no limited to::: the re-education camps, loss of job, loss of pension/oh, yeah, they'll go after that pension. They'll cancel your ass, and that is for all time.
