He can’t be allowed to play. He’ll wind up like Hank Gathers or Reggie Williams, dead in his 20s. He can’t even play pickup.
what the ? did they disclose the injury? they can thin his blood, and other meds. but no doctor will say "stop exercise it's bad for your heart"

if sheadon sharpe can get drafted in the top lottery despite not playing for a year then bronny can get a camp invite, and with bron as his dad no team is going to force him to play more than he wants.

You can’t play professional sports on blood thinners. It’s what forced Bosh into retirement

There are no minor heart conditions that cause full cardiac arrest. You can’t just try it and see how it goes. He could die like Reggie Lewis, in a pick up game. He is undraftable and unplayable in the NBA.

Maybe he can contact the Make A Wish foundation if he really wants to play with his daddy in the NBA.

Sad as , but a lot less than it could have been. Was really looking forward to seeing Bronny at SC too.

I don't know the specifics of the Bosh situation but you can absolutely play pick up games on blood thinners. I do it regularly and I have a congenital heart defect. I'm on no restrictions.

There are arguably minor heart conditions that can cause cardiac arrest. Lets say AFIB indirectly causes other problems for example. AFIB itself doesn't cause cardiac arrest but could potentially exacerbate other problems. An ablation would solve that. Tachycardia can be addressed in a lot of ways and doesn't always mean that the person needs to be on blood thinners.

The key, according to cardiologist Richard Kovacs, is getting the right diagnosis. After all, plenty of players had similar cardiovascular problems but went on to play.
“The key for Bronny’s future, in my opinion, is that they get the diagnosis right — and that’s not easy,” Kovacs said. “It takes a careful assessment by a team of cardiologists who are familiar with looking at diseased hearts and elite athlete hearts.”

The best-case scenario for Bronny James after suffering cardiac arrest, per cardiologist (msn.com)

That kind of Dr. shopping is what got Reggie Lewis dead. He got cleared to play the next season, and dropped dead playing pickup.

I don’t believe they’ll doctor shop. They’re not just millionaires. There in a whole different category of wealth. I’m sure they’ve long had a connoisseur cardiologist on tap as well as other specialists. They have the worlds best care available to them.

If you’re looking for a doctor to give you a diagnosis to your liking, you’re doctor shopping. Bronny doesn’t need to be in the NBA to bring generational wealth to his family like most draft prospects. They already have it. LeBron should place him in Klutch to be the eventual replacement for Maverick Carter.

Where in the article and Dr. Kovacs statement is even an iota of suggestion to "Dr Shopping"?

That’s just one guys opinion. There’s nothing factual about it. I have no reason to believe that they’ll risk his life doctor shopping.

Reggie Lewis died from cocaine, just like Len Bias did. Hank Gathers had a heart defect and stopped taking his meds because it made him sluggish. Bronny was screened and cleared for heart problems earlier this year. Do the math.

Neither Lewis or Bias died from cocaine. Lewis had hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, a structural heart defect, that is the number one cause of young athletes sudden deaths. No one or no report ever mentions cocaine.

Stop eating any fake news or conspiracy passing by.

There was a do entary about Bias where his friends and family talk about him doing cocaine the night he died. The first paragraph of his wikipedia page mentions it.

When Lewis died, the doctors thought it was drug related, and his family sued anyone and everyone to shut them up. Regardless, if it was HCM, it was diagnosed before he died. Bronny had a clean bill of health when his heart stopped.

I don't know about Lewis but Bias had a extensive history of cocaine use.

You sure? I seem to remember that he was talked into doing it the night he died, and it was the only time he did it. I could be wrong on that point, however. I'll try to find the do entary.

Christian Eriksson had a cardiac arrest on the field a few years ago and has since returned to playing soccer for Manchester United. It can be done.

Ya i wanted to see what he would develop into. Even if ceiling was NBA bench player. And I'm not limiting Bronny to that ceiling.

Still think Bronny + vet minimum Lebron in 25 may have been a score for some team.

I had it wrong abour Bias but Lewis didn't, that's "allegations". the autopsy report said differently.

Either he did coke or stopped taking his meds or both. Young healthy athletes collapsing is new, but addressing it is somehow a political position.
