In fairness Psg were e during the group phase and on the verge of being eliminated multiple times. But they got hot just in time for knockouts. I’m not crazy about the extra games but the new format was not bad at all.Thoroughly deserved for PSG, tbh. Better team over two legs by a distance

Bayern started wobbly under Kompany but have looked awesome the past month and will be super motivated by the Final being hosted at their home arena..

Well first and foremost PSG but I have to recognize that they are playing great football with a good mix of young talents and experience. They totally deserved to go next round, they played better 3 half out of 4 and dominated extra time, i loved the confidence of the penalty kickers. This is now a team and not just the addition of random superstars. Hopefully we will see a PSG / Real, Killian against his former team.. a must watch
PSG vs. Liverpool was really good over both legs - that's what CL should be like.

They can talk about the penalty VAR robbery all they want, but ATLETICO LITERALLY had 120 minutes at home to score an extra goal and move on after Gallagher snatched one after mere 27 seconds. I have no sympathy here for Simeone and co. especially when Real were pretty pretty average.
That being said PSG/Real would is a more intriguing Semi matchup with nice a subplot assuming they get through Villa/Arsenal (Emery is a knockout mastermind, I would be worried if i were a PSG fan, tbh)

If it were over two legs, Barca would prevail, IMO. I think they are slightly better than you this season. But over 90 minutes, I would probably still pick Madrid over Barca in a CL Final. Just too much history, experience and juju
Hopefully we finally get the elusive Clasico CL Final or the actual European Clasico Bayern-Madrid in the Final. It makes zero sense the two greatest teams in the history of the compe ion never met there. (I know Milan won 7 to Bayern's 6 but the Germans are bigger and have been way more relevant throughout the years)..It is weirdly similar to the world Cup; we never had the Germany-Brazil Final.
Lewandowski's path to a 3rd Finale, standing in the way are his former homes - Dortmund & Munich. Poetic.
