At least Favre waited until like 70% of the season to get injured his year with the Jets, tbh.

Achilles is a 9 month to full year injury.

With the regression of Cousins this year (lol losing at home to Tampa and Mayfield), the Vikings could decide to re-strengthen the defense and of course give Jefferson his well-earned highest-paid-WR long term contract ever, and let Cousins walk. In theory, they can trade their top pick to the Jets for Rodgers, and make the Jets eat most of Rodgers' salary cap hit, too.

    Imagine that.

Cleared to practice after just 11 weeks.

the NFL is so desperate for good QB play, they’re looking the other way on blatant HGH/steroid use here.

By the time he’s fully cleared the Jets will have 9+ losses and out of playoff contention. Hes not coming back this year.

"speed bridge" surgery allegedly. Weird that he was on board with some novel medical procedure

If that’s really the case it was a very stupid risk for him to take and I’m not buying it that the procedure actually worked until he’s back on the field for 2-3 games with no issues.

The whole predicate was that the Jets actually had to be around .500 or so for him to return, but Saleh, Zach Wilson, and the rest have done nothing but their pants outside of 2 good early season home wins.

Zero incentive for him to return for a month of games playing for pride out of playoff contention.

He's best off going back to the conservative route if possible and getting ready for next year's training camp.
