The craziest part of that 2nd inning wasn't the Rangers scoring 5 runs but Lowe hitting like 15 foul balls in a row in the same at bat lol
tbh though Game 1 was huge. Rangers got lucky that both Sborz/Chapman were sh1tting their collective pants in the 7th and 8th inning but somehow got out of both jams and got the 1 run win. Huge confidence boost to what was clearly the 800 lb gorilla weakness on this team. I truly think if the Rangers blew game 1, then it would've been a huge hit to morale and they either get swept or lose in 4. Hitters would've started pressing, and the bullpen would have zero confidence the rest of the series
