I'll play the moderate, the rudolph giuliani if you will etc

I think he's going to be a Memphis Pau Gasol level of player imho although how long he'll last at 7'4 or w/e is a huge question mark...borderline All Star, may grab a few All Star selections, but would still need to be a 2nd option for a championship contender. I know this sounds surface level, but the superstar level players usually do have that 'dawg' in them I guess you could say. Mean mugging opponents after made shots, hittin 'the stanky leg' after dunking on people, maybe a few controversial quotes as a rookie to the media to ruffle feathers , etc. Seems a little too 'finesse' for me to think he'll be a guy who's just going to dominate and singlehandedly turn a franchise into a perennial winner by himself imo

    Very good take.

I'm wondering why Pop has not yet traded for some veteran leadership to compliment him and help him to develop. Either way, expectations should be tempered.

Wembanyama is like 1 month away from being better than Memphis Gasol, if he already isn't, tbh. Are you mofos even seeing the kid play?

memphis gasol led his team to multiple playoff appearances

wemby is struggling to win 10 games and somehow managed to make his team worse upon arrival

Again with the winning argument. He's a rookie and his coach is sabotaging the team, nobody gives a , tbh.

So your argument is that he has decent numbers in a lottery team?

Literally the lowest ceiling and the environment with the least amount of pressure to perform.

Stat padding on bad teams, has been done already by numerous players since the league's inception, and they certainly weren't labelled "generational"

Lebron and Jordan stat padded on a bad team their rookie seasons, weren't they generational?

Jordan and Lebron rookie team records, respectively:

    38-44

    33-46

The best prospect since Lebron has 8 wins through 43 games

A generational player would have a bigger impact than that.

Not when the coach sabotaged your start by playing you out of position and not having a point guard, tbh.
