Ruben is averaging 28.8 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists for the Lobos this season. He currently leads the nation in scoring, averaging over 33 points a game in conference play this year. Ruben has hops, decent defensive skills, and can flat out fill up the bucket.

If the Lobos were not going through a rebuilding process this year, perhaps Ruben would have received a little more publicity than he has. Unfortunately teams in the west that don't play particularly well don't get a lot of press.

I think he could sneak up into the late first round if he can impress the scouts. I think Ruben Douglas is a definite sleeper for this year's draft that could surprise some folks.
