I'm returning from California. Nothing will surprise or shock me. I empathize with the growing frustrated European. In simplest terms I don't think by and large decision making politicians are prioritizing the middle European class enough.

Literally nothing. I could hide in Poland if that was the case.
We can be better and average Europeans happier by simple common sense changes.
If those changes don't happen, then what?
People will lose trust in a united EU, people will close off and become territorial

Technically England isn't on the peninsula, it's not a shocker.
Exactly I overall support the EU, especially the concept. Have positive opinion of it and would like to see it prosper.
But it isn't now?
Too much growing poverty/inequality and lacking commercial innovation.
Honestly I think today's Europe waste too much focus/resources on climate/humanity and not enough trying to be the best and in turn improve the lives of our people.
This default gameplan of: import people. To every financial issue. Europe has never been a grunt. We need to be sharpier not more of us.
Germany is the King of automobile and yet Europe is forcing electric in the next decade.
Is that financially wise. Some of the EU leadership mirrors the most affluent out of touch.
The central issue I'm seeing is many Liberals in the West are more focused on challenging/rewriting standards of nuclear family, parenting, household, bread winner - instead of helping to encourage them.
The West is already the farthest Liberal by a long shot. And IMO the perfect healthy middle/compromise of many conflicting norms.
Are we the standard or not. Help rebuild our successful & proven formula not undermining it (lately heavily).
